What isVibroAcoustic Therapy?

VibroAcoustics is a new technology providing amazing physical and emotional results.

VibroAcoustic Therapy sound equipment produces an effect by which physical vibrations are felt by your body when the device is connected to a sound source. They bathe you with relaxing or healing vibrations and encapsulate you in soothing sounds as your stresses melt away. Vibroacoustic tables can vibrate at a variety of speeds at the same time, due to the different vibrational rates of each note in a piece of music.

The sound is transferred directly to the body surface. The physical vibration transfers sound vibration energy to the surface of the body which puts all molecules inside the body in motion. All cells inside the body are vibrated by the sound waves which move through the body. The body is receiving an external and internal massage. The organs in the body which we cannot reach by traditional methods - nerves, glands, lungs, heart, deep-lying blood vessels, and brain tissue - will respond when being exposed to sound vibrations.

This is the basic idea of all VibroAcoustic Therapy (VAT).

The use of VibroAcoustics has been shown to increase circulation, reduce blood pressure and lower heart rate.

The sound and vibration assist the client into a gentle type of unwinding process throughout the session. It quickly allows his tissue to soften and nervous system to calm down as bodywork begins, easily allowing him to move into deeper states of relaxation.

Did you know that sounds played in harmony can actually move water molecules into a visible pattern? This phenomena is known as ‘resonance’. Imagine what these audio waves could do to your body’s cells. Our bodies are over 60% water. Cells not only live in a watery environment, they are largely made of water. Water transmits the sound and vibrations efficiently while you lie comfortably on the sound bed. The sound frequencies gently permeate your cells, leaving you in a state of relaxation, with decreased pain and anxiety. In just 30 minutes, acoustic therapy can balance your heart rate/blood pressure, increase circulation, reduce chronic muscle tension, energize your moods and emotions, and greatly reduce stress.

VAT is aimed primarily for direct communication with the nervous system, muscle tissue, bones, glands and fluids of the body. Music and the massaging frequencies are transferred directly to the body of the client.

VAT is a non-invasive, drug free alternative to addressing many of life’s stresses and disorders and for enhancing the quality of life.

Therapy is usually done multiple times per week initially to entrain the individual’s physiology to adopt and adapt.
